I started from applied mathematics and C++, then spent 15+ years delivering Ruby on Rails
products before moving my main focus to Elixir and Phoenix. That mix gives me a practical
view of architecture: fast enough for product work, disciplined enough for long-lived systems.
Before backend engineering became my main focus, I ran a business-automation practice,
translating client processes into working systems for more than a hundred companies. That
background still shapes how I work today: I start from the business problem, not the ticket,
and let architecture follow from what the client actually needs, across enterprise workflows,
data-heavy applications, and integration-heavy platforms.
